Last night was bitter sweet as I watched our son and his classmates walk across the stage to receive their 5th grade diplomas. They have all come so far since I taught them 5 years ago. They have all grown and changed in so many ways. I am truly proud of them. But mostly I am glad that they have had a Christian education for their primary years. Some of them will continue with their Christian education at the local Christian middle school while others will be scattered though out town in the public system. I pray that they will continue to walk closely with the Lord. Always sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone they meet.
ks us to take care of them for him. Well I realized that I was not doing that. So I decided to change how I treated my body. I started running as you may remember back in March when I turned 31. I am proud to say that I have lost about 20 lbs and am now 175 and a size 14 instead of the 18-20 that I was wearing. I still have a long way to go as I would like to get down to 145 and a size 8/10. Perhaps by the end of the summer I will be closer to that goal. As I reach the milestones of 165, 155 and finally 145 I will update you with pictures so that you can see the new healthier me!
