Ezekiel 14.

God was talking about how a person can only save themselves by their righteousness from Gods wrath. He even noted that the same is true for people such as Daniel, Job and Noah who all found favor with God. As much as we would like to save our children from the evil in this world and from eternal damnation we can not. Our children are not saved through our faith but through their own faith and repentance. It is our job to equip them with the knowledge of Gods Word and to lead by example a life filled with love, devotion and repentance in our Savior Jesus Christ. God tells us to train up a child in how he should go and he will never depart from it. If we do not train our children we have failed them miserably and we will have to answer to God for our actions or lack of actions. I often hear people say "I come from a Christian home". Well that is good but do you believe? and if so what do you believe? If they have been trained in how they should go this answer will come easily for them if not they will stumble and stamper walking around the question. If we want our children to be absolutely certain about their salvation we must teach them and pray for and with them.
