Band Day 2009

What is band day you ask? It is a day set aside for bands from near and far to march down main street Williston entertaining the eager parade watchers.

Here are a few of the bands that marched in the chilly weather.

Some bands came as far away as Canada.

There were a few floats.

And what parade would be complete with out horses.

And old fire engines.

Apes driving old cars.

There were many old cars in the parade as there was a car show at the event center.
Of course the Shriners were there. With their cute little cars. And what is that I see in the back ground? A tiny little airplane? How cute is that I want one.

Hey look at these cutie patuties. They were selling cotton candy to all the wide eyed children and the men who just could not resist.

We filled 4 cars with cotton candy and it all sold before the start of the parade reached the end of the rout. Good work kids.
