Yesterday Ansir and I decided to make our own Advent calendar. We traced star cookie cutters in three different sizes on card board.
After they were cut out we covered each star with tinfoil.
Then we glued Bible verses on the back of each star.
And wrote numbers on the front of each star.
Finally we hung them on the tree. The other option would have been to hang the in a line on a string. I saw this idea online and it was very cute.
I love the idea of reading Bible verses each day instead of receiving candy or just looking at a cute picture. This is another way of keeping Christ in Christmas.
